Cyclocross Minded is excited to announce that 2016 Under 19 Women’s National Champion Olivia Nendick has joined our group as a Cyclocross Minded Ambassador.

Olivia had long been a cyclist but came to cyclocross as a way of reliving a significant period of depression. She found herself enjoying the sport and embraced by its community.

She has subsequently become a passionate advocate for mental health and an equally passionate advocate for cyclocross as a sport for all.

Olivia has today been announced to represent Australia at the 2017 UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Bieles, Luxembourg in January. Given she broke her wrist four weeks ago, the race is on – but she’s doesn’t seem to the type to shy away from hard work!

Supporting junior riders is a key goal for Cyclocross Minded and our ambassador program. We are making sure that Olivia has access to a Horst Cross Spikes Pro Kit: All Conditions – Stainless Steel to help with her training and racing throughout the coming season and we look forward to celebrating her effort and triumphs.
